The Institutions Registry is a web application aimed at allowing prospective students and the general public to verify if whether a certain institution is registered or not. This application is a response to the challenge faced by prospective students who end up enrolled on unofficial institutions which provide unregistered qualifications. The application also allows organizations to verify if a potential employee holds the qualifications that they claim to hold. Individuals can search for institutions and get information about the registered courses they offer.
CAREERPEDIA
Careerpedia exists to bridge that gap by providing a social mobile platform that provides a mechanism to engage learners with academic and industry professionals. Learners are now given the opportunity to explore some of their careers of interest and to make further queries about the specifics of their careers. The vision behind the application is to help our current government in the process of building a career wise generation. Our mission is to bring a new line of thinking about how career guidance and counselling can be effectively done using the most-dominant technology which is mobile technology.


Cosmic Hub
The project aims at improving the public understanding of science and space exploration by providing a user friendly platform for cataloging and sharing the sightings of Near earth object. The app is implemented on a Blackberry 10 platform and pulls its data from an Amazon Platform as a service hosted back-end. The app crowd-sources the discovery and confirmation NEOs by allowing people to comment, confirm and share the sightings on their favorite social networks.

The application enables a taxi commuter to locate their nearest taxi stops where they can catch a taxi and also gives them information about when is the next taxi arriving at their respective stops.


Peermarker
Peermarker is a web application targeted at ASA learners. The application allows the learners to assess each other's English essays. Educators publish essays through the application and set the status to “Ready”, the learners write and submit their essays via the application. The learners assess each other's essays and provide positive and constructive comments. The application solves a problem faced by educators as to the load of essays to assess in a day.
